Fast Track Skills Development

A hands-on workshop that develops core TTM skills workers need to deliver TTM services effectively.

Based on employer and senior STMS feedback, training is done in a supportive way, without the pressure of a formal assessment. Gain confidence and competence in your role.

General Overview

This workshop is for people working in Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) who want to improve their skills in the key steps involved in doing the job well.

Based on employer and senior STMS feedback, it offers focused, hands-on training for specific skills needed to help with or lead TTM setups, while also making sure health and safety rules are followed. The workshop also builds important soft skills like clear communication within the crew. Training is done in a supportive way, without the pressure of a formal assessment, so learners can focus on gaining confidence in the skill. Our experienced trainers are here to help your team grow their skills.

Key benefits:

  • Opportunity for repeated practice in a realistic training environment.
  • Blended learning approach, including Q&A sessions, practical drills, and feedback loops.
  • Structured feedback provided to employers, outlining strengths and areas for improvement (this also ticks a big part of PCBU expectations from HSWA).
  • Less restrictive than formal training days, allowing trainers to provide more direct support.
  • A Trilogy Training Record of Completion is provided upon completion, serving as proof of training and evidence for PCBUs.

Training Approach:

The training is conducted in a safe and controlled environment, utilising a combination of simulations and practical drills that replicate real-life TTM situations. This methodology allows learners to practice multiple times, embedding key skills through repetition and hands-on application.

Our approach fosters an ecosystem where trainees can flex their skills without the pressure of formal assessment. This ensures that learners are comfortable and able to focus on mastering processes without the pass/fail constraints of assessment days. By allowing participants to link processes together at their own pace, they gain confidence and competence in their roles.
